A'DAM Tower celebrates 10th anniversary with mini-festival

Ten years after its reopening, the A'DAM Tower has become one of the city's most dynamic hotspots. What was once an office building is today a vibrant destination where music, gastronomy and culture converge. From May 13 to 17, the tower will celebrate this anniversary with a multifaceted program as energetic as the city itself.

Anyone who has been to Amsterdam-North in recent years cannot ignore it: the A'DAM Tower is a place where something happens day and night. In honor of its 10th anniversary, that energy is being translated into a week of festivities in which truly everyone will find something to their liking. Remarkably, all Amsterdammers receive free access to the A'DAM Lookout - a gesture that emphatically gives the tower back to the city that made it great.

The programming feels like a carefully curated playlist. Start the day with breakfast in the revolving Moon restaurant, where the view slowly changes as the city awakens. Later in the day, the tower transforms into a playground for young and old, with a kid's rave, VR games and interactive installations that blur the lines between reality and imagination.

’At night, the tower effortlessly switches to nightlife mode. Think live jam sessions with Junior Appiah, club nights in Shelter with D Stone and others, and energetic sets during Madam by Night with names like Benny Rodrigues, Cincity and Philou Louzolo. Even the parking garage becomes part of the experience, with immersive lighting installations and a roller skate disco that merges nostalgia and futurism.

“Ten years of A'DAM Tower is not just an anniversary, but a celebration of everything that makes Amsterdam so irresistible: freedom, creativity and an endless drive to keep innovating.”

What stands out is the inclusiveness of the program. With The Dance Palace for the over-65s and events like The Loft presents FS Green, a wide audience is addressed - just as the tower has developed over the past decade: accessible, innovative and always on the move. This versatility is characteristic of modern Amsterdam culture, in which boundaries between generations, genres and disciplines are fading.
